We offer our Clients railway forwarding service and transshipment through Liepaja Bulk Terminal of following export commodities and agro products: 

• wheat, barley ex Russia and Kazakhstan as well as local cargoes from Lithuania and Latvia.

Storage possibilities of Liepaja Bulk Terminal allow Clients to avoid vessel's demurrage and other unexpected expenses while arranging transshipment of import cargoes directly vessel - waggon which gives our terminal attractive advantage versus other terminals and ports of the Baltic Sea.

Liepaja Bulk Terminal is located in ice free Liepaja port (Latvia). Terminal has experience in handling almost every import and export bulk product which was coming in or out Baltic States, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine or Byelorussia, such as wheat, barley, rye, sunflower seeds, sunflower seeds meals and cakes, beetroot meals, flax seeds, millet seeds, rape seeds and meals, cotton meals, etc.  

Liepaja Bulk Terminal has two flat storage warehouses. Each of them has separate railways, berth and its own loading gallery. We are able to load 3 vessels simultaneously as well as accepting incoming cargo at the same time.

Terminal 1 is located at berth 51, Liepaja port. It has capacity of about 100,000.00 tons and is divided by  14 sections. The terminal has its own railways and is equipped with railway and truck scales for cargo acceptance. Terminal has loading gallery with loading capacity of about 6000 tons per day. The gallery is equipped with bunker type electronic scales, therefore cargo is being weighed twice, upon arrival and upon loading on board the vessel. Draft restriction of this terminal is 9.5 meters. Terminal is currently handling commodities such as beetroot meals, wheat, barley, rapes seeds, etc.

Terminal 2 is also flat port warehouse located at berth 67, Liepaja port. It has about 20,000.00 tons capacity and is divided by 3 sections. Terminal is also equipped with its own railway scales and loading gallery with integrated electronic bunker scales. Loading rate is about 1,500.00 tons per day and draft restriction is 5.4 meters. Terminal is fully equipped for coaster trade to Europe and currently works with commodities such as sunflower seeds meals and cakes, rape seeds meals, etc.

Liepaja Bulk Terminal is able to accept bulk commodities in the flat warehouses which are located about 1.5 km from the port in case cargo needs to be stored longer period of time. This possibility adds over 50000 sq. meters of warehouse space available for different bulk and general cargoes. 

Liepaja Bulk Terminal is ISO 9001 certified and approved by European banks in case clients need factoring pledging their commodities. Our Clients receive financing from their banks immediately upon our confirmation that cargo is on the way to Liepaja.

Terminal is able to monitor railcars electronically once dispatch information is received from shippers or their agents and can confirm the shipment to the banks before cargo's arrival to the terminal. It gives our Clients a solid instrument to attract extra financing while trading.

Liepaja Bulk Terminal is located in an ice free port of Liepaja and currently is important transportation hub for European companies. Great geographical location allows port of Liepaja to be competitive among Baltic States ports and unlike other ports, Liepaja port still has an excess capacity of incoming railways and stations allowing further port expansion. Liepaja railway capability is about 2 million tons a year of bulk commodities.

Currently we plan to develop one of the last attractive properties along berth 51. Partially this land can be considered for lease to clients interested in building their own warehouses or silos expanding transshipment capabilities.  This land is marked in yellow on the port development drawings.

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE IN LIEPAJA, LATVIA 

Currently about 25000 sq. meters warehouse is up for sale with surrounding territory. It is located about 4 km from the port and fully equipped as a general cargo terminal. This terminal is equipped with truck unloading ramps able to load/unload trucks with ocean containers on chassis right to the warehouse. It has railway branches able to accept transit cargoes destined to/from Europe. One of the railway branches is located under the roof of the terminal allowing wagons discharge strait to the terminal without losing time due to weather. 

This complex can be combined with one of the berth with 5.4 meters draft currently handling import and export cargoes such as petcoke, timber and other cargoes general export and import cargoes.

Such combination of terminal and berth can allow interested buyers in converting this terminal into the large distribution hubs without extra capital investments. It is ready to accept cargoes now.
